ReadingFlo Reimagined

Sketch from the ideation stage of how I wanted the grid to be organized
This project was a self-initiated concept redesign for ReadingFlo, a website for learning Spanish through comprehensive input regardless of fluency level. While the original site has an intuitive user flow, its visual execution lacks impact. This redesign elevates the aesthetic appeal while keeping the core mechanics intact.
I used a bento grid to present my updates to ReadingFlo's visual system such as: a new typeface, color palette, and logo that embodies the site’s purpose with greater clarity. Alongside this, the grid showcases how the refreshed aesthetic would look integrated into the site’s existing mechanics.
With the bento grid, all the redesign elements are in one place and makes it easy to comprehend how the new look enhances the existing experience without altering what already works well.
