Process Breakdown
This was a passion project for a faux release announcement featuring Arca's "El Alma Que Te Trajo". While the song was released in 2022, its timeless and exists in a league of its own; what better way to venerate the song than by revisiting its release day?
While my work usually centers a CTA (which is still being done here), this project's focus was on stylistic choices. Arca's idiosyncratic aesthetic allowed me to say more with the design by using "mutant," surrealist visuals, and less of a focus on text. I've included some photos below of what inspired me.
